    Call sheet for a two-person remote review (roles + links)

    “I 4kChat because the client and I need to judge the real feed — not a compressed proxy.”

    The smallest useful review is two people: you with the camera, the client somewhere else. Send this sheet the day before, filled in.

    Roles

    • Host: you. Starts the call from Start a Call, admits from the waiting room.
    • Hero camera: capture card or USB camera on a wired laptop, joined to the same room.
    • Client: joins from the link via Join. No account needed.

    Order of operations

    • T-15 min: host starts the call, admits the camera, checks the tile.
    • T-5: client joins, host admits, client pins the camera full-screen.
    • T-0: run the colour / focus check, then roll.

    Fallback

    If the client cannot connect, it is usually a strict network — Free has no TURN relay. Ask them to try a phone hotspot or home Wi‑Fi. Two people plus one camera fits Free's 4 seats with one to spare.

    Resolution
    Follows your hardware and network. 4K/8K is not guaranteed on every call.

    Direct peer-to-peer. Free has no TURN relay, so some strict networks (hard NAT) may not connect.
