A recent phone on a gimbal
The single biggest quality upgrade for a walkthrough. Stabilised motion keeps the encoder efficient and the detail intact.
Fixed progress cameras (coming)
WHEP directly, or RTSP through the local bridge, admitted as host-approved participants once IP camera bridging lands.
360 and action cameras
Anything the OS exposes as a camera, or an HDMI output through a capture card, works as an extra angle.
Site connectivity
Cellular is usually fine for one 4K angle. Add a fixed camera and you will want site Wi-Fi with a real uplink.
Will this actually work for us?
Will it work on a half-built site with patchy signal?
Adaptive bitrate lowers resolution rather than dropping the call, and reconnection is automatic across network changes. Deep-concrete dead spots are still dead spots.
Can the client record the tour?
Anyone in the call can record locally on their own machine. Nothing is uploaded, so there is no shared cloud copy to manage.
Do I need to install anything on site?
No — the tour itself is just a browser. On-site IP camera bridging is still coming; when it lands, the bridge will run on a machine on the site network.
Is the client's link private?
Rooms are link-scoped and media is end-to-end encrypted. Close the room and the access is gone.

How many people can join a walkthrough?
Rooms run as a full mesh — everyone connects directly to everyone else, with no media server. It's built for small groups where quality matters.
Does the buyer need a fast connection?
They need download headroom, which most connections have. The demanding side is the one sending 4K.
Can I brand or embed the tour?
Yes — rooms can be embedded in your own page with the iframe widget.
