    If the call won’t connect

Calls are direct peer-to-peer. That means no relay servers by default — and some networks simply won't let two devices talk.

    Try a different network

Mobile hotspots, home Wi-Fi, and guest networks often behave differently. A phone hotspot is the fastest test when a corporate or hotel network blocks the connection.

    Firewalls and symmetric NAT

Some firewalls and symmetric NAT setups never allow a direct peer-to-peer link. We don't promise enterprise firewall traversal, and we don't run relay servers.

    Resolution follows hardware

Even when the call connects, the quality you see depends on the camera, machine, network, and browser on each side. We don't warrant a specific resolution.

    Add a third peer

In a small mesh, a third participant on a reachable network can sometimes help the other two find a path. It is not guaranteed, but it is worth trying.
